Here is a tiny rough draft of the model I have been working on. It will be altered immensely before the end of the semester. This particular model is a general model for the Department of Defense focused on the annual security briefings which are mandatory for all DOD contractors.
************************************************************************************
The main audience for this model are the engineers working at these facilities as well as the men and women in charge of implementing and maintaining security. Each facility will have its own individualized form of instruction depending on the audience and resources available.
*************************************************************************************
You will notice that there is not much of a Front End Analysis because it is a federal requirement that DOD contractors must have some form of an annual security briefing. The majority of the front end analysis will be to determine which employees need to focus on which topics of the briefing. One employee might not be as aware of how to safeguard documents and therefore it would be his or her focus during the security briefing. Instead of receiving one review course he or she might receive more training.
*************************************************************************************
One thing I am unsure of is the "change" portion of the model. I think there needs to be some type of "change" block associated with the model because the form of the instruction will be different then the audience is use to, which may cause attitude issues. I am not sure where or how to add this component to the model. Any suggestions?

You'll have to figure out if the change component is at the individual level (attitudes, motivation) or organizational level (policies or procedures).
ReplyDeleteDo the engineers have a set of basic skills and knowledge that is required?
If FEA is not as important as in other models in your diagram do you need to indicate where the standards/etc/ are originating?
ReplyDeleteNOt sure what you mean by where the standards are originating? Do you mean the FEA should state that standards are predetermined?
